Speedy Smashed Avocado

When you are in a rush but want to make the most of your delicious avocado, this super speedy recipe can be made whilst your eggs are poaching, or whilst you’re prepping for a BBQ later that day.  Perfect for your avo on toast, or nacho’s to dip.


  • 1 ripe avocado
  • half a lemon or whole lime
  • Chilli flakes
  • Salt and Pepper

Halve and then scoop the avocado into a bowl (discard the stone), squeeze the lemon over the avocado and add a sprinkle chilli flakes and salt and pepper to taste then mash it all together with a fork! Simple as that!

Eat straight away on toast or keep it in the fridge to serve with a Mexican meal, or as a dip. So simple so yummy!
